When you work in welding, the shoes on your feet are not simply part of a uniform. They are one of the most important barriers between your body and hazards such as falling objects, hot sparks, molten metal, and sharp debris. A question we hear often is, how tall must a welder's safety shoes be? Th...
READ MOREAsk any electrician how long a pair of electrical safety gloves stays good for, and you will hear a range of answers: six months, a year, until they look worn. The truth is more structured. Electrical insulating gloves are good for six months once they are put into service, and up to twelve months ...
READ MOREHands absorb more occupational injuries than almost any other part of the body, and cuts are among the most common. In workshops, warehouses, glass plants and metal fabrication shops, a sharp edge can turn a routine task into a serious incident in a split second. The right pair of cut resistant glo...
READ MOREShijiazhuang Yuanfan Labor Protection Supplies Co., Ltd. is a direct Food-Grade Non-Slip Safety Shoes manufacturer with 15 years of production experience. We supply a dedicated range of footwear engineered for wet, greasy and hygiene-sensitive environments in food processing, catering and hospitality. Our shoes combine smooth microfiber uppers that resist bacterial growth and cleaning agents with outsoles designed for reliable traction on floors contaminated with water, animal fats or vegetable oils. White and light-coloured options support visual contamination detection, helping facilities maintain strict sanitation protocols. We configure each order around the working conditions, slip hazard level and hygiene class required.
Our food-grade safety shoes are a specialised subcategory within our broader Safety Shoes line. They are positioned for environments where standard non-slip footwear may not meet food-contact area requirements. The range currently covers one core type, with variants selected by closure style, sole hardness and toe protection level.
These shoes are designed for workers who stand and walk on continuously wet or greasy floors. The primary hazards are slip and fall injuries, plus exposure to organic residues, cleaning chemicals and temperature variations. The footwear must not harbour contaminants or shed particles that could compromise food safety.
| Parameter | Typical Range / Feature | Relevance |
|---|---|---|
| Upper material | Smooth microfiber, water-resistant | Resists absorption of fats, blood and cleaning agents; easy to wipe clean |
| Outsole | Oil- and fat-resistant rubber, multi-directional tread | Provides traction on wet, oily and greasy surfaces |
| Colour | White or light grey (standard) | Enables visual detection of soiling or contamination |
| Toe protection | Steel or composite toe cap (optional) | Meets impact and compression ratings where required |
| Cleaning resistance | Withstands repeated washdown with detergents and sanitisers | Maintains integrity under daily sanitation schedules |
We configure each shoe model based on the floor type, exposure level and any additional protection needed (e.g. metatarsal guard, puncture-resistant midsole). The footwear is manual-use PPE; no electronic controls or automation interface applies. For facilities using shoe-washing tunnels or automated boot scrubbers, we can advise on material compatibility and expected service life under frequent mechanical cleaning.
As a manufacturer with annual production capacity of 600,000 pieces, we implement in-process inspection at key stages: upper stitching, sole bonding, slip-resistance verification and final visual check. We can provide sample pairs for pre-production approval and submit test reports for slip coefficient, oil resistance and bacterial growth resistance upon request. Acceptance criteria are agreed at order placement, covering dimensional tolerances, colour consistency and packaging format.
These shoes are designed for replacement rather than repair. We recommend daily rinsing and weekly deep cleaning with approved sanitisers. Spare insoles and laces are available for the standard models. For large-volume contracts we can hold consignment stock at our factory for scheduled releases, reducing your inventory burden.
To configure the correct model and quantity, we need the following project details:
Our food-grade safety shoes are manufactured with materials that comply with common food-contact hygiene standards. We can provide material declarations and test reports for the specific compounds used in the upper and outsole. Certification to a specific national standard can be discussed per order.
Yes. We supply pre-production samples for approval. Sample cost and shipping are typically covered by the buyer and deducted from the first production order. Lead time for samples is 5–7 working days after specification confirmation.
For standard models with no colour or logo change, MOQ is 300 pairs per size run. For custom colours, branding or special outsoles, MOQ starts at 600 pairs per style. We can discuss lower quantities for trial orders.
The outsole compound is formulated to resist animal fats and vegetable oils. We recommend testing a sample on your actual floor surface to confirm the slip resistance meets your acceptable coefficient of friction. Our technical team can advise on tread pattern selection based on your specific fat type and floor finish.
Production lead time is 25–35 working days after sample approval and deposit receipt, depending on order volume and customisation level. We ship FOB from Tianjin or Qingdao port. Air freight is available for urgent top-ups.
Yes. We can apply your logo on the shoe, insole and outsole, and provide custom carton printing. Artwork setup and approval are included in the project timeline. Please supply vector files and Pantone references.
Our portfolio also includes Products, Protective Workwear for applications with different operating ranges, interfaces or integration requirements.
